Samsung has adjusted the rollout timeline for One UI 9 in Thailand by removing specific launch dates for several Galaxy devices. Nearly a week after its initial release, the stable update is still not available outside South Korea.
The Galaxy S26 series was the first to receive the stable One UI 9 update in South Korea on 16 September. As of the latest available information, there is still no confirmed schedule for a wider international release.
The most noticeable adjustment appears in information previously published by Samsung Thailand. The Galaxy S26 series was originally set to receive the update on 21 September.
That date came and went without the update arriving. The information was later updated to 28 September, before being changed yet again to simply state that the update would be available at some point in September.
Samsung no longer lists a specific launch date for the Galaxy S26 series in Thailand. This change leaves users without any certainty about when the update will actually reach their devices.
Launch plans for other models
The Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z7 series are also on the list of devices expected to get One UI 9 in September. Both lineups had previously been tipped to receive it on 28 September.
For the foldables, the schedules for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 were adjusted as well. They were originally targeted for 28 September, but now only carry a general September timeframe.
The Galaxy S23 FE received a different kind of schedule change compared to the rest. Its update availability shifted from October to late this year.
The latest information from Samsung Thailand shows the company is still relying on broad timeframes for several devices. The available schedule details can be summarized as follows.
The Galaxy S26 series will receive the update in September.
The Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z7 series are expected to receive the update in September.
The Galaxy S23 FE is scheduled for late this year.
Global rollout has not started
Under normal circumstances, Samsung typically expands software updates to other regions just hours after launching them in its home market. That pattern has not happened with the stable release of One UI 9.
Almost a week after the South Korean launch, no devices outside the country have been reported as receiving the update. Samsung’s newsroom portals in other regions have also yet to publish any launch schedules.
The previously circulated dates were known to come only from Samsung Thailand’s newsroom portal. No other regional portal has displayed similar date details for the One UI 9 rollout.
This situation creates uncertainty for Samsung users outside South Korea. Launch plans could still change because the company has not provided any new specific dates for international markets.
Four months of testing
Before the stable version arrived, the Galaxy S26 series went through four months of One UI 9 testing. Samsung released seven beta versions during that period.
The beta phase serves to identify and fix problems before the software becomes widely available. Even so, the distribution schedule after the stable release has shifted in Thailand.

For eligible device owners, One UI 9 availability will still depend on distribution region. Users need to keep an eye on Samsung’s updates because the schedules for several Galaxy models have been revised.
