Soraya: Pachamama Group’s Persian Restaurant Opens in Marylebone on 15 October

The Pachamama group opens its new Persian-inspired restaurant Soraya on Thursday 15 October at 96 George Street in Marylebone, after a limited soft opening. The group behind Pachamama, zēphyr, Bottarga, Nina and Lagana has built a reservation waitlist before the doors even open.

The food

The menu centres on Persian-inspired sharing plates. Expect sourdough flatbreads, silky smoked dips and lamb shoulder skewers. The signature order is the burnt caramelised cheesecake, already being talked about as the dish to finish with.

What to expect

Soraya is pitched as a polished Marylebone dining room with the group’s trademark warmth. Sharing plates, a well-built drinks list and the cult following of the sister restaurants make this one of October’s safest bets for a dinner booking.

Book well ahead. If the soft opening is anything to go by, the first weeks will sell out fast.
