Solis opens its permanent home on Tuesday 20 October at 26 Kingly Street in Carnaby, Soho, the first standalone flagship of the South American-inspired grill from Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, the duo behind TĀ TĀ Eatery, which launched at Arcade Battersea in 2023.
The food
The signature grilled chicken with smoked Aji-Aji chilli oil and the flat iron steak carry over, joined by new sharing cuts, croquetas, elotes, a Uruguayan-style prawn cocktail and brioche bocadillos. House sangria comes by the jug, and there is a proper bar.
What to expect
TĀ TĀ built a loyal following at Arcade Battersea, and the Carnaby site is a step up in ambition: a standalone grill rather than a food hall stall, with the room to do the sharing menu properly. Soho’s Kingly Street is one of the best-positioned streets in central London for a grill that wants walk-in traffic.
Book for the opening weeks, especially Friday and Saturday nights, which will go first.
