AC Milan Former CEO Giorgio Furlani Officially Leaves the Rossoneri Board of Directors

Giorgio Furlani is now officially out of AC Milan. The former chief executive of the Rossoneri has formally left the club, bringing an end to his time in office.

The move follows the joint statement issued on 25 May, in which Red Bird confirmed a sweeping dismissal of the entire sporting and executive area. Although Furlani formally stayed in his role until now, the latest company register extract shows the club’s new organisational chart, and his name no longer appears on the board of directors.

The new board of directors is made up as follows. Paolo Scaron takes the role of chairman of the board of directors, while Massimo Calvelli has been named chief executive officer. The directors are Gerry Cardinale, Stefano Cocirio, Randy Lewis Levine, Riccardo Stefanelli, Robert Jay Klein, David Castelblanco, and Alfredo Craca.

On X, lawyer Felice Raimondo offered some insight into the situation. He explained that the board of directors has now reached its minimum number, pointing to article 15 of the bylaws, which states that the board consists of a minimum of nine members and a maximum of 15, all appointed by the ordinary shareholders’ meeting.
