Milk Burger: Kyiv Restaurateurs Pair Burgers With Champagne in Notting Hill

david

Milk Burger opened on 5 October at 50 Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill, a chef-led burger restaurant from Kyiv restaurateurs Alina Kosichkina and Dima Zakhodiakin, pairing burgers with a Champagne-focused drinks list.

The burgers

Executive chef Jorge Paredes, formerly head chef at OMA and AGORA when they won Michelin stars and previously at Sabor, runs the kitchen. The menu includes bone marrow and truffle burgers and a spicy smash, all built with the precision you would expect from that pedigree.

The concept

Burgers and Champagne is a combination London has flirted with but rarely committed to. Milk Burger goes all in, with a drinks list built around Champagne to cut through the richness. The interiors come from the designer behind The Chiltern Firehouse, so expect the room to look the part.

Westbourne Grove has needed a destination burger spot, and a chef-led one with this background is worth the trip across town.
